I can't see any files in the browser window, MPC doesn't work!!

MPC only display files whose format it can recognize. This means the if you don't use Hours it will not display Hours files, etc. The normal configuration is that the memos are synced to Palm Desktop (or some similar application) which means that no memo file is created, and if you don't use Hours, Expense, etc, no files for these applications will be created. All this means that MPC will display an empty browser because there are no files it will recognize.

Why is MPC not able to create databases?

Mainly because we don't need the ability to create databases . Another problem is that creating databases would mean that we need to spend a lot more time on testing to make sure that everything works as expected ... which means that we would have to charge for MPC.

How can I get notified when you release a new version?

Since we really really really dislike SPAM, we haven't even considered sending out announcements of new versions ... but we have got a number of questions about this and we have decided that we will send out a short email announcing new versions of MPC.

But to get on this list you need to send an email to info@mootjelitt.com and ask to be added to the list. If you send an email asking about something, or suggest a new format, you will not be added to this list.

What does MPC cost?

Nothing, it's free.

OK, it's free ... but I still want to pay you something, how can I do that?

Some people have asked how they can "financially reward us" for making MPC available despite the fact that MPC is FREE. Well, if you want to give us money for MPC despite that it's a free program, we will not make things difficult for you ... we are not that crazy . The easiest way would be to use this webstore or send money using PayPal.

It doesn't unlock any secret features in MPC but we promise to bow in the general direction of your country and say "thank you".

I'm the developer of the shareware program XXX, would it be possible to make a custom version of MPC that can do YYY together with XXX?

Yes, we can make custom versions of MPC that supports a certain application, does certain filtering, calculations, that you can distribute with your application, etc. Get in touch with us and we'll discuss the terms.

Is there a Windows version?

Currently no. The reason is that the Windows platform already has a large number of conversion tools so we assume that there is no interest in another application. If there is enough interest in a Windows version, we might make one later.

Why doesn't MPC read XXX files

Possible reasons:

• No one has asked us to implement the format.
• We haven't the time to implement it yet.
• The format might be proprietary and the originator of the format will not give us the specification. It's too much work for us trying to reverse engineer the formats so if we can't get the format specification we will not implement it.
